I received my Bachelor's in Psychology in Berea, Ohio at Baldwin-Wallace College in 1996. I then pursued my Master's degree in Community Counseling at Florida Gulf Coast University and graduated in 2001. I achieved my clinical license as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in 2004.

My professional experiences include: teaching psychology classes at the university level, counseling the HIV/AIDS population, homeless, child welfare, special needs of adults, children and their families; hospice, grief and loss, GLBT, SIB, adolescents, couples, groups, and step down therapy from more intensive crisis units. I am also a Florida licensed Foster Parent.

I specialize in providing therapy services to adolescents and adults with a variety of issues and diagnoses.

My satisfaction derives from helping others invested in achieving their goals. I live by the motto that seeking therapy is a positive goal in life to improve on the well being of the person and to learn more effective life management skills, not because "something is wrong with them".
